The Role

We're hiring a Head of Marketing to build a strategic marketing function focused on driving revenue. This player-coach role involves both hands-on execution and team-building as you establish processes and set the department's direction.

We're looking for a creative thinker to explore innovative ways to increase pipeline and revenue while maximizing sales resources. You’ll support our teams, drive client activation, and collaborate closely with our Founder CEO to ensure everything aligns with our brand and positioning.

You'll work alongside Sales, Partnerships, Customer Success, and Solutions Delivery to ensure marketing efforts are efficient and aligned with revenue goals. Reporting to our COO, you'll design programs to fill the pipeline, accelerate deals, and support customer expansion. What You'll Do

  • Lead high-impact marketing programs while hiring, developing the team, and creating scalable processes for consistent excellence.  
  • Make strategic decisions on marketing resource allocation for customer acquisition or expansion.  
  • Design and execute scalable customer marketing programs to drive revenue and support Customer Success.  
  • Develop innovative demand generation approaches that build pipeline within complex sales cycles.  
  • Strategically build the marketing team, determining roles and structure as the business scales.  
  • Maximize ROI from events and conferences while creating repeatable programs to expand reach.  
  • Enable the sales team with valuable assets and positioning to close complex B2B deals.  
  • Drive product marketing and go-to-market efforts, translating technical capabilities into appealing narratives.  
  • Collaborate with the CEO to align marketing with brand voice and ensure high-quality execution.  
  • Optimize the digital presence by improving the website, email campaigns, and B2B social programs.  
  • Partner with revenue leadership to align strategies and create shared metrics and feedback loops.  
  • Translate business strategy into actionable marketing plans with clear KPIs and accountability. 
  • Lead competitive intelligence and market analysis initiatives, establishing systems to track competitor movements, identify market opportunities, and inform strategic positioning decisions across the organization.

Required Experience

The ideal candidate excels in strategic thinking and execution, effectively prioritizing resources and driving revenue through targeted marketing programs. With a keen eye for design, you collaborate with leadership to deliver high-quality initiatives aligned with business goals. You facilitate communication, hold teams accountable, and adapt quickly to support sales while creatively addressing challenges.

  • 10+ years in B2B marketing, with at least 3-5 years leading marketing organizations
  • Track record of building marketing teams from early stage to scaled functions
  • Experience in making strategic resource allocation decisions and clearly articulating trade-offs
  • Prior success in building customer marketing or expansion programs that drive revenue from existing customers
  • Experience developing creative approaches to demand generation in concentrated markets or complex enterprise B2B environments
  • Proven success in developing and launching B2B websites that drive measurable pipeline and conversion
  • Deep experience with B2B digital marketing, including email campaigns, marketing automation, and social media programs
  • Prior experience bringing SaaS products and complex B2B services to market, from positioning through launch and growth
  • Deep experience in enterprise B2B, ideally in SaaS, fintech, insurtech, or complex B2B services
  • Proven ability to drive measurable pipeline and revenue contribution in resource-conscious environments
  • Prior success working closely with sales organizations that handle full-cycle sales 
  • Experience maximizing ROI from events, conferences, and field marketing programs
  • Experience working with Customer Success teams to drive expansion and adoption

Not Required But Valued:

  • Experience in events, sports, travel, insurance, or payments industries
  • Prior experience in scaling mid-stage (Series B/C) companies through growth inflection points
  • Background working in product-led or solutions-led organizations
  • Experience with platform business models and B2B2C go-to-market strategies
  • Prior success with ABM programs in concentrated markets
